Check the status of your front or back door and lock it hands-free using the Google Assistant. Enter your passcode, use one-touch locking, or use the Nest app to lock it. The Nest x Yale Lock is incredibly secure, tamper-proof, and effective. If someone were to ever attempt to tamper with you, you’d immediately receive an alert on your smart device. You’ll also receive an alert if the battery runs low on your lock. All you have to do is change the 9V battery and then you’re lock is as good as new. Installation Not every door is compatible with the Nest x Yale Lock. The Nest x Yale Lock is not designed to lock sliding glass doors or other glass doors.
